nrg4SD takes part in international decision-making process coordinating and representing the positions of subnational governments and advocating for a better recognition of the crucial contributions of subnational governments to sustainable development. nrg4SD also offers specialised and technical products adapted to subnational governments and relevant to different thematic areas under sustainable development: to help its member regions better understand the international sustainable development framework and the role of subnational governments in promoting sustainable development, nrg4SD has produced a series of documents including Overviews, Advocacy and Policy Papers, Quick and Rough Guides devoted to sustainable development and the contribution of subnational governments towards its achievement.
