nrg4SD Working Group on Forest Policy Kicks Off

On the occasion of the annual General Assembly of nrg4SD taking place next 29-31 August 2011, the Regional Council of Aquitaine, in its capacity of coordinator of the Working Group on Forests Policy, will present to members the proposal for the work programme of this Group.

Aquitaine's vision for this Working Group proposes focucing on the public goods that are provided by forests and on enhancing the voice of subnational governments in this filed at international level.

This is a mayor issue for the region of Aquitaine which is host the biggest French forest and counts with important economic sector linked to forests.
