The United Nations University Institute of Advanced studies has launched a Master of Science Programme in Environmental Governance - Specialisation in Biodiversity starting in September 2011. The main objective is to support an academically grounded and practice-oriented in-depth capacity building formation to future leaders in the area of biodiversity to accelerate the implementation of the goals of the CBD at the different levels (local, national and international).
