Following our spirit of collaboration and exchange, nrg4SD launches the 2018 calls for the Visiting Experts and Call4Projects programs.
The Visiting Experts Program aims to promote the exchange of experiences, mutual learning and cooperation among members. More specifically, the program enables the visit of an expert of a South member in a North or South territory to learn upon a specific subjected related to nrg4SD’s fields of action (sustainable development, biodiversity and climate change). The objective is to improve the visiting expert’s capacities and competencies while fostering bilateral cooperation and know-how transference t achieve excellence in environmental governance at the regional level.
The Call4Projects aims at promoting cooperation among nrg4SD members in actions and projects on adaptation to climate change, conservation of biodiversity and sustainable development. The Call funds a broad spectrum of activities, including but not limited to publications, conferences, capacity building programs, technical missions, expeditions, field studies and workshops.
North-South and South-South partnerships are expected for both programs, based on the topics addressed by nrg4SD initiatives RegionsAdapt, Regions for Biodiversity Learning Platform and Localising the SDGs at a Regional level. The call is open to nrg4SD members who not necessarily need to participate from the aforementioned initiatives, but who have interest in the topics dealt by them.
Candidates are welcomed to submit proposals for the Call4Projects and Visiting Experts Program by the 4 of February and 11 of February 2019, respectively.
