On 12 September 1:30pm to 3pm nrg4SD will be hosting the workshop “Realising the global goal on adaptation The contribution of regional governments” in the course of the Climate Chance Summit in Agadir.

By establishing the global goal on adaptation, the Paris Agreement reflects the great importance given to adaptation for the first time in the history of climate negotiations.

The workshop will present how regions can help to further shape the global goal on adaptation and will present efforts and success of regional governments in contributing to effective adaptation actions worldwide.

According to Ms Hakima El Haité, Moroccan Climate Champion, the Climate Chance Summit “is above all a platform that makes it possible to make the link among all the actors who will implement the Paris Agreement”.

We would be happy to feature your contributions to an effective implementation of goals of the Paris Agreement, so please join us in the event as a speaker!
