* ESRA ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAMME
The course is a product of UNEP FI, the INCAE Business School through the Ecobanking Project and GIZ. Since 2005, 3,300 professionals from the financial sector across all over the world have been trained in the “Environmental and Social Risk Analysis (ESRA)” Training Programme. The course is designed to educate risk managers and analysts in commercial, corporate, investment and retail banking in or dealing with developing countries and emerging markets in the identification, analysis and management of environmental and social risks generated through their lending and investment activities.

To educate employees of local, regional and international financial institutions with a focus on emerging markets in the identification, analysis and management of environmental and social risks generated through their lending and investment activities.
Duration: 3 weeks.
Time commitment: 2 hours per day, on average, from Monday to Friday with a flexible timetable.
Upon successful completion of the Course, participants will receive a certificate of completion from UNEP FI, INCAE, Ecobanking and GIZ.

* CLIMATE CHANGE: RISKS AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE FINANCE SECTOR
The UNEP FI Online Course on “Climate Change: Risks and Opportunities for the Finance Sector” provides participants with a fundamental understanding of the science behind climate change and the structure of the international climate change regime. Furthermore, this course aims to educate participants on how financial markets—across the banking, investment, and insurance sectors—can cope with the resulting risks of climate change, and seize the potential opportunities.
Upcoming Course: 14 October – 3 November, 2013 (English)
Objective: To equip representatives of financial institutions – including banks, insurers, and fund managers – as well as other stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to address climate change risks and capitalise on its opportunities. With nearly 650 professionals trained, the course has been running since 2007, and it addresses the challenges that the financial sector faces now and into the future.
Duration: 3 weeks, offered in English.
Time commitment: 2 hours per day, on average, from Monday to Friday with a flexible timetable. Tasks can also be done over the weekend.
Tutors engage daily with participants, providing guidance and facilitating debates.
Upon successful completion participants will receive a certificate from UNEP FI.
